It's Beginnin' to Look a Lot Like Christmas. Kinda.

I had N haul all the Christmas stuff down and then I found out, again, that it's really hard (impossible?) for me to stay patient while decorating the tree with the chillens. It probably didn't help to get motion sickness while putting the lights on-around and around and around. *shudder* I'm feeling ishy again just thinking about it. Most definitely it will not be moi taking them off in a month! And, hey, it's kind of odd to look out the window and not see any snow!  Come on, it's pretty much December..what's up with that?

One of the little helpers
There isn't going to be any picture of the tree just so nobody gets jealous. But I will kindly describe its beautifulness-no matching ornaments and those that are on got concentrated on the top half, no tree skirt, a few sections with no lights (they burnt out, apparently as I was putting them on) and no topper since ours doesn't stay on. I know, you wish it could be yours! At least my mantle and front entry are starting to look nice. Although I am was wishing I could go buy a bunch of new, nice, decor. I could just about envision N's face as I explained that the kids aren't getting the other half of what we planned; but really, doesn't the mantle look just fabulous?! Needless to say, that plan got scrapped pretty quickly.

Now it's time to think about making supper. Does anybody have some ideas for quick, easy meals that my picky kids will eat? The rounds of chicken, meatballs and spaghetti are rather quickly getting old.
